The Very Lazy Annoyed Canadian

Wow - I just looked at my blog and realized that I haven't made a new posting since November 3rd - I am truly lazy!

It's certainly not that I've had a lack of things to rant about - quite the contrary. I think I was overwhelmed about what was more important and chose to write nothing instead. Topic number one had to be George Bush winning another term - Yikes! I guess it's time to start investing in gun companies and bible printers. I will write a separate blog about one of the interesting by-products of his recent win - the 600,000 plus inquiries each day to the Canadian Immigration Department from American citizens.

I also wanted to tip my hat to the Canadian Taxpayers Federation . They are filing a lawsuit against Dalton McGuinty and company, alleging that the manner in which they imposed the Ontario Health Care Levy was in violation of the Ontario Taxpayer's Protection Act - an act that Dalton McGuinty signed just last year. If you're an Ontario taxpayer, join the Federation and give them your support.

Finally, I'd like to give kudos to Rick Mercer for his lampooning of the Canadian Tire Guy - I just about fell off my chair it was so damn funny. A video clip of the spot is available in the back-issues section of his website - go watch it.

Okay - I'm feeling a bit less lazy now - I promise to be a more active Annoyed Canadian in the future.

Some of us are quite happy to have GWB for a second term. And we're equally happy to see the snivelers considering going to Canada. I hope you have better luck keeping them happy than we have!

Fortunately the "snivelers" are highly educated, skilled and have lots of money - we'll gladly take them.

Too kewl, you updated, lol. So via BlogExplosion, I felt like giving you a "10" rating just for that. Hope to see more posts more often. :-)
